The Happy Mums Foundation is starting a new project which will give mums and pregnant women across north, east and west Cumbria access to support groups for mental health problems.
Initially groups will be run online using Zoom but will move into communities in Carlisle, followed by Eden and west Cumbria, once lockdown eases.
The two-year project will reach a further 160 Cumbrian women, through 250 staff-run support meetings, as well as starting three volunteer-run groups.

Happy Mums wins New Social Enterprise of the Year 2018!
On Thursday 8th March Katherine and Amy attended the Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership's Conference and Awards event at Rosehill Theatre, Whitehaven. Happy Mums were short-listed in the category of New Social Enterprise of the Year, up against some tough competition from our friends at iCan Health and Fitness CIC who went onto receive a 'Highly Commended'.
We were ecstatic to win the award, and are so grateful for the recognition of the hard work that the whole team have put in over the last three years.
